Is my data safe with Ben?

Absolutely!

Ensuring the security of your company data is our top priority. We have implemented robust security measures and industry-best practices to protect your information. Our tool uses secure cloud storage and strict access controls to safeguard your data from unauthorized access. Additionally, we conduct regular updates to stay ahead of emerging threats.

Data privacy & security is our #1 concern. Most importantly, no personal data that you might share with Ben is passed to OpenAI, Cohere or any other LLM provider we might use.

Why do I need to give permissions to Ben?

Ben uses various permissions to operate properly. When adding a new connector, you can verify the permissions requested.

We always request the least permissions possible in order to operate our product. Permissions we ask are generally of the following natures:

• Read the content of your company's knowledge usually captured in tools like Notion or Slack in order to contextualize and enrich it,

• Read specific events

I cannot install Ben slack app

We suggest you verify that

1. The workspace owner or admins have given you permissions to install a new Slack app

2. Your Slack workspace still has free slots for adding new apps
